Note from the Principal

Dear Parents,

We have come to the end of the first month of school! The beginning of the year is a very important and a very challenging time as students, teachers and parents are all getting used to the new setup including new classrooms, new teachers, new classmates, new expectations, etc. I am glad that everything is falling in place. Students and teachers have connected very well, classroom agreements are in place and routines and procedures are being practiced. Teachers have been conducting base-line assessments to determine where each student is and to guide their instruction.

The key to student success is a strong home to school connection. We do our best in communicating with you regarding your child’s learning through daily updates, individual and group pictures and bi-weekly newsletters. If you still have any feedback, questions or concerns, please feel free to set up a time to meet with your child’s teacher or me.

I would like to request all the parents to drop off their children on time. Please make sure that your child’s placard is in a manner that allows for the entire placard to be viewed through the vehicle windshield.

We value you and your commitment to our students. I am grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for everything that you continue to do on behalf of our students!
