Note from the Principal

Dear Parents,

NYA family wishes you all a very happy and blessed new year 2023!

We all recognize that the world around us is changing at a pace that was never seen before. It is getting increasingly complex with the developments and challenges of nature and scale that we have not experienced ourselves. Research shows that ⅔ rds of the careers that our kids will get into have not been invented yet. So, there is no point preparing kids for careers, we need to prepare them for life. Schools must create productive citizens and leaders and good humans who are prepared for the challenges of the 21st century and are lauded for their skills, character and integrity and are self-driven to make a worthy impact on the world.

We at NYA recognize what the parents’ expectations are, what students’ needs are and what our responsibility as educators is. We understand that as the world is changing, the way we educate children must change too. We create an environment and develop instructional strategies that help the students learn to learn, reason critically, think creatively, work collaboratively and develop the capacity to produce innovative solutions to modern challenges. Apart from the core subjects of English Language Arts, Math, Science and Humanities, our focus is to develop all attributes of the IB Learner Profile which are also our School Wide Learner Outcomes.
