As we begin the New Year, it is important to think and reflect upon the importance of education.
Reflecting upon John Dewey’s big idea, education is first and foremost about learning to learn; it is being a lifelong learner. As teachers and parents, we work together to instill in our children a passion to become lifelong learners who love to read, write, and solve problems. Guiding students to embrace creativity and the arts, we help them to experience the joy of creating something out of nothing.
And, we strive to help our students grow an understanding that using our education and knowledge to make the world a better place makes life so much more meaningful.
