Welcome Back! We Missed You!!
On behalf of our entire New York Academy staff, I would like to welcome you all! I hope you had a wonderful summer break and you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year! At school, extensive collaboration, planning and hard work has gone into preparing for a successful school year 2022-23!
We are thrilled to share with you that our new campus – NYA Elementary and Middle School Block is ready!! The facility has thoughtfully designed classrooms with cutting edge technology, a Dance Studio, an Audio Recording Studio, Infirmary, Central Library, Makerspace, Science Lab, Collaborative Spaces and much more. The outdoor play has been designed keeping in mind the needs of different age groups and will be ready soon.
All teachers and support staff have spent hours setting up their student-centered classrooms, preparing materials, and reviewing data. The rooms are beginning to look amazing! Teachers are eagerly looking forward to enriching your child’s life!
Our admin team has been busy welcoming new families and enrolling the new and old students. They have worked tirelessly to update the MCB system to make the enrolment, fee collection and communication easy for you all.
My sincere thanks and appreciation goes to our facility and maintenance team that worked diligently throughout the summer to get the school ready. Many facility updates from structural to technological have taken place in the last few weeks keeping in mind the needs of our students and the best practices.
I would also like to extend a special welcome to our new staff members. You will be very glad to meet and know each one of them.
As excited as I am to write this welcome letter, it is the face-to-face interactions that we value most. Please know that we have an open door policy, and welcome any opportunity to meet with you. We are looking forward to our collaboration in providing the best learning experience for our students.
Please make a note of the following dates:
August 1st – Orientation and Meet & Greet for Preschool in the NYA Early Learning Center/Preschool Block
August 2nd – PYP Orientation and Meet & Greet for Kindergarten to Grade 6 in the NYA Elementary and Middle School Block
You will be receiving emails from the admin team and your child’s class facilitators regarding the orientation and other details.
This will be a FANTASTIC year!
